Kirk A. Nadeau, PMP
With more than 20 years of pulp, paper and power manufacturing and project experience, Kirk founded KEAN in 2007. He is responsible for company vision and guidance, business development and growth, strategic business relationships and customer relationships. Kirk has held key leadership roles in other companies with global interest and brings creativity and a can-do attitude to projects and programs he is involved with. In 1997, Kirk earned his Bachelor’s degree at Maine Maritime Academy in Marine Engineering Operations. Additionally, he holds a Project Management Professional (“PMP”) certificate from the Project Management Institute (“PMI”).
Caleb J. Bell, FE/EIT
Caleb joined KEAN in October, 2013. His 15 years of pulp and paper experience ranges from working as a Millwright’s apprentice to serving as a Reliability Supervisor. He has strengths in field engineering/inspection, project development/management, equipment installation and maintenance, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel QC and administration, paper machine roll maintenance, machinery lubrication and predictive maintenance. Caleb earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maine at Orono. Additionally he holds certifications as a level one Vibration and Machinery Lubrication Analyst and has proven success developing and implementing facility-wide lubrication programs.
Scott Joined KEAN in February, 2014. He is an experienced construction engineer with strengths in project and construction management, scheduling, reverse engineering and field engineering. Scott is a ten year Veteran of the US Army and brings his leadership and management skills obtained through his service to all of his projects. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management in 2010 from the University of Maine and an Associate’s degree in Building Construction Technology in 2013 from Central Maine Community College.
John Neptune, PE, MBA
John has extensive experience in leading capital intensive projects from development to start-up in the pulp, paper, and power industry. John joined KEAN in March, 2015, bringing experience in outage planning, schedule preparation and project execution with contractors and stakeholders. John earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maine in Civil Engineering and an MBA at Thomas Collage.
Bradley R. McLeod, FE/EIT
Senior Project Engineer
Brad joined KEAN in March, 2013. He is an experienced field engineer with core strengths in mechanical applications, project development & management, reliability engineering, lubrication program implementation, troubleshooting, system dynamics and process controls. Brad has been the lead on numerous projects ranging from equipment installations, to outage scheduling & coordination. He has passed the FE/EIT exam with an eye toward earning his PE in the near future. Brad earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology at the University of Maine at Orono, and was a Pulp and Paper Foundation scholarship recipient.
